Haunted Hamilton is so excited to return to one of our favourite (and most haunted!) places to investigate... Rolling Hills Asylum, in East Bethany, NY! (less than an hour from the U.S./Canadian border!) A Paranormal Investigation Experience like no other, Haunted Hamilton has EXCLUSIVE access to this historic asylum for the ENTIRE evening!

THE HISTORY...
Rolling Hills began as a poorhouse in 1826. Those eligible for admittance included habitual drunkards, lunatics, those with no means, the disabled, or vagrants.
In 1828, a stone building was added to the Poorhouse dedicated to only the lunatics and dangerous paupers, who needed separation from those of a less violent nature. All residents were considered inmates, and the able-bodied were forced to work the farms surrounding the building.
During its history, Rolling Hills would serve as shelter, asylum for the insane, a nursing home, and in 1992 would become a very creepy shopping mall.
It’s believed that over 1,000 people died inside and around Rolling Hills since its opening over 180 years ago.
THE HAUNTINGS...
"The man known as Jack paces a 2nd floor solarium. Seen as a dark force that blocks light from windows and doors. If Jack is comfortable with you being there, he may open a door and invite you in. Some guests have asked for this, and the door opens on command.
You’ll feel energy emitting from the Rolling Hills’ morgue when entering this unique room. An Italian speaking man has been heard. A suit hanging in the room has gone from garment to paranormal tool. Like a cloth pendulum, the energies of this space will communicate with the living by swinging back and forth.
The Administration room is a room of real dread. The negative energy hangs thick in the air as you walk through this space. It affects many, including grown man who’ve been brought to tears just by stepping inside.
Other experiences include the capturing of true EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), unidentifiable shadow people walking the halls, disembodied voices talking around guests, and objects moving about. A dark cloud surrounds Rolling Hills.
Legends of dark practices are repeated throughout the generations, including Satanists and cults enjoying the hidden and remote negative energy. It was believed that some nurses and doctors of the Poorhouse were into such traditions which you consider to be violent and evil."

WARM Comfy
Clothing: Dress in layers and prepare for the weather! It is going to be very cold inside the asylum so bundle up. The Green Room which can be accessed at any time is heated and has complimentary coffee/tea and a snack bar too!
Small Blanket & Pillow: For your time in the Green Room or on the bus ride.
Good,
comfy shoes: You'll be on your feet all evening. Heels and open sandals are not recommended! The location
contains hazards including, but not limited to,
narrow corridors, steep stairs, dark tunnels, winding staircases and uneven surfaces.
Carry-on bag/back-pack:is allowed on the bus and can be placed in the overhead compartments.
Small Flashlight:Most lights will be turned off in the location for the night except for the main corridors and hallways which will be illuminated. Bring a flashlight but make sure it doesn't disturb others investigating.
Extra Spending Money: For
some cool things we always have for sale on our Haunted Bus Trips and some extra $$ for your free time!
Camera: You won't want to forget this experience, and
who knows, maybe you'll capture something on film!)
Video Camera: (same as above...)
Extra batteries: We can't tell you how often and quickly these drain at haunted locations! Bring lots!
Paranormal Investigation Tools: We will have some with us for demonstration, but feel free to bring your own investigation tools (EMF Meters, Ovilus, Ghost Meters, Infrared, Night Vision, KII Meters, etc.)
Ghost Apps! Spend some time in advance checking out some of the fun ghost hunting apps on your cell phone! (iOvilus is a good one! Search for EMF too!)

Haunted Bus Trip Regulations:
A WAIVER must be filled in and signed before your ticket purchase. (see above).
Valid PASSPORTS are required for this trip.
Visitors are advised to please ARRIVE at least 30 minutes before the bus depars for check-in.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for younger kids.
NO REFUNDS once tickets are purchased. Guests may transfer their spots to another party, but Haunted Hamilton must be notified of the name changes in advance.
Please note there is NO HEAT in the building. The 'Green Room' will be heated for the night, however. Visitors are advised to dress warmly and appropriately. Outdoor winter clothing including coats, hoodies, hats, mitts are ideal.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD allowed inside Rolling Hills Asylum (but there is a wondful Gift Shop & Snack Bar & complimentary Coffee & Tea available!
